Project Finance is integral to the Group’s strategic Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) objectives for sustainable financing solutions.

We provide services in the realm of non-recourse and structured financing for our clients, financial institutions and infrastructure debt funds. Our expertise covers an array of sectors, with a particular focus on social Infrastructure, renewable power generation and digital infrastructure.

London Project Finance is part of a 30 strong team of professionals in CIC Project Finance, founded in 1992, with global coverage. The team based in London comprises four front-office staff dedicated to originating transactions in EMEA.

What we can do for you

With funding capabilities in multiple currencies, our range of products include (long term) variable and fixed rate loans, derivatives for hedging purposes, deposit services and other ancillary products.

We provide commitments as participant, arranger or mandated lead arranger (MLA) in club and syndicated transactions. We also support our client’s financing needs for tender submissions as part of a bid process. For projects that meet the Group’s strategic ESG objectives, we are able to provide larger tickets and act as MLA.

Krish Kotecha

Krish heads up the Project Finance team at CIC London. He joined CIC in 2014 and has over 15 years’ Project Finance experience. Prior to joining CIC, Krish was a relationship manager at RBS for its Project Finance clients, having joined the bank in 2010 to help restructure its balance sheet following the 2008 bail out.

Prior to RBS, Krish was a Director in the Global Infrastructure Group at Fitch Ratings and has also worked in the pensions industry providing advisory services to public and private sector clients. Krish holds a 1st Class BSc in Actuarial Science from City University and an MSc in Actuarial Management with distinction from Bayes Business School (formerly known as Cass Business School). He is an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries.
